Small companies may not legally require many Emergency First Aiders and large companies may need additional Emergency First Aiders due to the increased risk of serious accidents or the size of site etc. To meet these needs, we can train your staff to become Emergency First Aiders. They will be given the knowledge to enable them to take charge of an incident and carry out the most important life saving skills in the absence of/or until a First Aider arrives. This course is also useful as a refresher for qualified First Aiders during their 3 year term. Course content can, to a degree, be adapted to encompass areas particular to the client's type of industry.
Areas Covered:
There are no exams for this course, but there is an ongoing assessment. Candidates must show themselves to be proficient in dealing with emergency situations, including resuscitation, before a certificate will be issued.
