More and more people are working from home and so require a home worker risk assessment. This is often only possible because of the use of information technology, PC’s and laptops. If an individual works at home then their home becomes an extension of the workplace and the employer is every bit as much responsible for an individuals health and safety when they are working at home as they are when they are on the employer’s premises.
