Open Courses
All bookings are accepted on the basis that you the client accept our standard conditions of booking which are as follows:
Unless you have an account with Corporate Health, we regret that (with the exception of on site courses), bookings can only be accepted on receipt of a completed application form together with your cheque (made payable to Corporate Health Limited) to cover the places booked. Account holders will be invoiced.

Corporate Health Limited reserves the right to cancel or amend course dates/times/venues or content at short notice. Clients will be notified of such cancellations or changes at the earliest opportunity, however, Corporate Health Limited will not be held liable for any costs incurred by the client as the result of such a cancellation.
Corporate Health Limited reserves the right to charge the following cancellation fees should a student not be able to attend a course. (See separate page for On-Site Courses).
> Two weeks notice before the course 25% of the course fee will be charged
> One weeks notice before the course 50% of the course fee will be charged
> Less than one weeks notice, part or non-attendance on the course. Cost of courses non-refundable
> Student attending a 2 Day Re-qualification course without a valid certificate Cost of course non-refundable
> A £15 transfer fee will be levied for students transferring to other courses.
Under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, students on a registered First Aid course are required to attend ALL OF THE COURSE SESSIONS otherwise they will not be allowed to take the final exam and will thus need to retake the full course again.
Again, under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, we are only allowed to accept students onto the 2 Day First Aid at Work Re-qualification courses provided they can produce a First Aid at Work certificate which is still in date on the first day of the course. If not, then the student will not be allowed to take the final exam as the regulations require that they must retake the full 3 day course.
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that their candidates are suitable to become First Aiders before they book them on a course. Due to the physical and mental requirements of such a position, Corporate Health Limited reserves the right to ask a student to leave the course or prevent them from taking the final exam, should the Instructor decide that the person is unsuitable for such a position
On Site Training Courses
Courses and lectures can be run either at our Training Centre or at your own premises and this can prove to be a more cost effective way to train your company First Aiders To enable us to run an on site course, we would need the following facilities:
This should be on the ground floor, or accessible by lift, and be able to seat up to 12 people. It should be carpeted and have 'blackout' facilities on the windows. We recommend that you allow approximately 20 square feet for each student, plus the lecturer will need a table and space for his/her visual aids.
This will be required for the full duration of the course and ideally should be adjacent to the training room to facilitate the unloading/ loading of equipment.
Our Instructor may require the use of a T.V. & Video. He/she will require an Overhead Projector with screen and a flipchart with paper or a dry wipe board.
These will be required by the students and Instructor and should be available at the start of the day, morning and afternoon tea breaks and lunch time.
At least one extra room (situated near to the training room) will be required on the afternoon of the last day of the 3 Day First Aid at Work and 2 Day Re-qualification courses, for examination purposes. One room can be small with a desk and 2 chairs (for the theory exam) and the other will be either be used for the practical exam or as a waiting room.
Cancellation Fees for on site training courses are as follows:
- More than 8 weeks notice 25% minimum charge
- 4-8 weeks 50%
- 1-4 weeks 75%
- Less than 1 weeks notice 100%
