There can be few workplaces and even fewer companies that do not have a DSE workstation or two about the place so must complete full DSE workstation assessments to comply with the HSE regulations. Workstations that are poorly set up can be the source of discomfort and lack of motivation at the least and the cause of major work related problems at the worse. For companies with significant numbers of workstations and inevitable movement of staff, it makes sense to have the knowledge and expertise to carry out workstation assessments in house.
